New Orleans Festivals: A list of festivals scheduled for 2023 Holiday season

The warm months of 2023 are over but the fun never stops this holiday season. Here is a list of upcoming Christmas festivals until the end of the year: Nov. 23-Dec. 30: Celebration in the OaksCelebration in the Oaks is a walking, biking and driving tour through a holiday light show in City Park. Over a million lights will be scattered throughout the 2.25-mile drive to set the scene for the holidays.The driving tour is around 30-45 minutes and you can tune in to 103.7 to enjoy holiday classics throughout the tour. Dec. 2: Algiers Bonfire and Concert The Algiers Bonfire and Concert is one of the biggest events in Algiers this year. Drawing over 10,000 people, the bonfire and concert consist of musical performances and food from local vendors and shops. The concert is from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Algiers Batture at 200 Morgan St. The event is free and open to the public. Click here for more information on Algiers Bonfire and Concert. Dec. 7-10: LUNA FêteLUNA Fête is an annual festival of lights, art, and technology. The event is free and open to the public and has fun for all ages. Dec. 17: Caroling in Jackson SquareHundreds of amateur and professional singers will fill Jackson Square with Christmas cheer by illuminating the area with candles and singing some familiar Christmas favorites everyone is familiar with. Dec. 21-30: NOLA ChristmasFestThe NOLA ChristmasFest is celebrating its 10th anniversary as New Orleans’ most beloved indoor, family-friendly holiday attraction. There will be many holiday-inspired events and displays including a Gingerbread Village, a Giant Wreath and Tree, a newly designed ice-skating rink, carnival rides and holiday entertainment. The NOLA ChristmasFest is celebrating its 10th anniversary as New Orleans’ most beloved indoor, family-friendly holiday attraction.
