Prince Harry is reportedly planning to move back to the UK with his family, and has been urged to do so as soon as possible by royal experts.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were said to be “divided” over the matter, with Meghan Markle showing “no sign that she holds any kind of love for England” or has any plans to raise their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet there. However, Harry is “very much leading” on the idea of returning to the UK and has been persuading his wife to join him as he house hunts in London.

“There is a divide between the couple on this issue but they will soon start looking for a property of their own near London and Harry is very much leading this,” an insider revealed. “Making use of a small apartment in Kensington Palace from time to time isn’t out of the question, but when it comes to a home in the UK, they will purchase that themselves.”

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe has advised Harry that if he fails to set up a base in the UK, his children “are going to grow up not knowing their cousins, uncles or aunts, or any of their family.” He told new magazine: “If they don’t have a base here, Harry’s children are going to grow up not knowing their cousins, uncles or aunts, or any of their family.

“They’re growing up fast and his father isn’t getting any younger. I think he would want to do this before it’s too late. I think the idea of that would be pretty tough on Harry. I think he’d want this children to have a relationship with their cousins, and, in time, his father.”

While living in Montecito, California, Archie and Lilibet’s only extended family in the country is their grandmother Doria Ragland as Meghan is estranged from her side of the family. During an exclusive chat with The Mirror, Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell said he thinks it’s “unfair” that the children have been “cast out ” and won’t grow up with the love and protection of their extended family.

“I think it’s unfair in many ways that the children have been cast out, as well as the parents,” he says. “Because the children didn’t choose to be cast out. The parents chose for them.”
