Iron Ores can also be found inside any of the four types of Geodes or in Fishing Treasure Chests. When the population of an Ice Pip Fish Pond reaches 3, it can produce five Iron Ores. Players can also find Iron Ores by Panning in different bodies of water.

How to Make Iron Bars in Stardew Valley

Players can make Iron Bars using two methods in Stardew Valley. The first method to create Iron Bars is by smelting 5 Iron Ores in a Furnace. The smelting process takes about 2 in-game hours to complete. Another way to craft Iron Bars is by transmuting 3 Copper Bars into one Iron Bar. Players can unlock the Transmute (Fe) recipe when they reach Mining Level 4.

Occasionally, Iron Bars can be found by rummaging through Garbage Cans around town after players have received the Furnace blueprint from Clint. Monsters in the Mines, namely Shadow Brutes and Shadow Shamans, each have a 2% chance of dropping an Iron Bar when defeated.
