Last date to register for Cidco housing scheme October 27NAVI MUMBAI: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has extended the date for online registration for the recently launched Inclusive Housing Scheme(IHS) in Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Area (NAINA) to October 27. The earlier date for online registration was till October 19. Online registration and other processes can be done on https://lottery.cidcoindia.com.The online lottery draw for the scheme will be conducted on November 22.The NAINA projects approved Development Control and Promotion Regulation (DCPR), has a provision for developing housing for the economically weaker sections (EWS) and lower income groups (LIG) under the IHS in plots having an area of 4000 square meter and above. Thus, 20% of the total area of the plot has been made available in the NAINA project area for economically weaker section and lower income group tenements through private developers. On September 19, a housing scheme of 181 tenements was launched under the Inclusive Housing Scheme which included 17 tenements for EWS and 164 tenements for LIG which have been made available for sale. Cidco’s will select the eligible applicants through lottery draw and send the list selected applicants to the developers. According to Cidco, this is for the first time, that the NAINA region is offering affordable homes for LIG and EWS. The revised schedule regarding this has been made available on Cidco website.
