Trinity United Methodist Church to host free Pumpkin Patch Festival
Trinity United Methodist Church will host its inaugural Pumpkin Patch Festival on Oct. 14, and organizers hope to create an event that the church’s members and neighbors will look forward to attending each year.
“Trinity is nestled in Forest Park Heights adjacent to Springfield’s crown jewel, Forest Park. We believe in the spirit of community and … our festival will offer an opportunity to meet and support local businesses, get to know our neighbors and develop a deeper understanding of our community,” said Brenda L. Sheldon, publicity chair for the Pumpkin Patch Festival.
